A client's dog learning to stay focused and calm in a busy park.
When we started working together Willow was reacting poorly to dogs both in and out of her home. On leash she would pull, bark, growl and lunge. If given an opportunity she'd fence fight with the neighbor dogs you hear in this video. Walks were not very fun and her behavior created stress for everyone involved. Willow needed a personalized Fear/Aggression Reactive Behavior Modification Program to learn better responses to other dogs.
Thanks to dedicated training and management, Willow is learning to focus on her person, notice dogs without reacting, respond to her name and other cues and most importantly, how to calm and make better choices. Stepping outside the house is no longer a tug-of-war but an enjoyable experience with a responsive dog. There is still work to be done but Willow and her family are well on their way to peaceful outings.
Prerequisites for the behavior modification programs include the Frantic to Focused Foundations course above OR an Initial Consultation AND experience in a class that teaches similar skills and ability to demonstrate the same
A 6 week program for dogs who are generally good with people and other animals but once on leash, a switch seems to flip. These dogs may be able to hike off leash, ignore some people/dogs and even make new friends. Yet on leash they may bark, pull, and lunge a the sight of a dog or person (or vehicles or other animals). Enjoy walking your dog again!

Enjoy peace of mind and help your dog learn to cope with their "monsters"!
*If you aren't sure why your dog is reacting that's okay! During an Initial Consultation your trainer will evaluate your dog's behavior to determine the root cause of the problem to help you select the best package for your dog.

In this 4 week program you will teach your dog to love a muzzle and how to be comfortable wearing it. Muzzles are a safety tool, just like a leash! This is a great companion course to the Fear/Aggression Reactive Behavior Modification Program. It is also recommended for dog's who may need to wear a muzzle at the veterinarian or groomer, have a bite history or tend to scavange for and eat gross/dangerous things on walks!
