Jean is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. This means that she has proven her understanding of learning theory, training methods, and basic dog physiology to an independent organization called the Certification Council for the Professional Dog Trainer.
How does this help you? A CPDT is a professional who has proven dedication to dog training and is evaluated by a leading organization in the industry. A trainer must earn CEUs (continuing education credits) and commit to certain ethics to retain certification. Since dog training continues to be an evolving field it is very important that a trainer stays up-to-date on best practices and concepts.

Jean Biggins, CPDT founded Pawsitive Change Dog Training in 2018 to be able to reach more clients and serve more people and their pets. By choosing Jean, you and your dog will work with a trainer who has personally handled thousands of dogs and taught over a thousand human clients to achieve pawsitive results.
Jean has a decade of experience providing personalized training on topics ranging from basic manners to complex problem behaviors. Jean has taught private lessons on topics ranging from pulling on leash, recall, to more complex fear and aggression cases. Jean has worked with dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, chihuahuas to Newfoundlands, hounds to herding breeds and everything in between.
