Initial Consultation

To gather history, evaluate your dog, answer questions and pick a private lessons dog training package

Online Consultation

$110

A 60 minutes discussion and evaluation meeting online via zoom. An opportunity for the trainer to evaluate your dog, provide management tips to help you right away and for you to ask questions. Video is best to allow evaluation of your dog and home setup for your customized dog training services plan. Required for aggression/fear/anxiety behavior modification cases but recommended for all clients.

Online Puppy Consultation (For puppies under 5 months old)

$90

A 60 minutes discussion and evaluation meeting online via zoom. An opportunity for the trainer to provide recommendations for supplies and home setup, management tips to help you right away and for you to ask questions. Video is best to allow sharing of resources and evaluation of your home setup. You will also receive a recommendation for training package. A great way to get advice and create a plan even BEFORE puppy comes home!

Phone Consultation

$60

Unreliable internet? No problem. We can do a 30 minute phone consult instead to discuss your dog training needs. Available anywhere you need help, no need to live in or travel to Stevensville or Missoula to get help.

Private Training Packages - Online Lessons

An online consultation is not required for these pre-set packages. These dog training packages are built around pre-selected training games developed through years of experience to teach the desired skills. These private lessons packages are focused on a deliberately narrow training goal in order to see real pawsitive change in your dog!

Lovely Leash Skills

Help your dog go from pulling to perfect! A 6 week dog training program to teach your dog to focus on you, where to walk when on leash and basic impulse control around distractions - the most challenging cause of pulling on leash! Best for dogs of all ages who pull on leash to get where they are going - not because they are reacting out of fear or aggression (check out the page on Reactive Dog Training if your dog is the later).

Reliable Recall Foundations

A 6 week dog training program to teach your dog to come when called! You'll learn fun games to help your dog choose YOU over distractions! You'll learn the building blocks and steps necessary to create an effective and lasting recall cue. Best of all, the program includes flexibility and room for games personalized to your dog and challenges that have hindered recall training in the past. Dog doesn't want to be caught? Or tunes you out when on a scent? There's a game for that!

New Puppy Starter Program

$340

A 4 week dog training program on the most important training goals for any new puppy parent. Includes crate training, house training, chew/biting, and socialization. Start your puppy off on the right paw by raising them the way a trainer would!

New Puppy Plus Program

$510

A 6 week program that includes everything in the New Puppy Starter Program plus two additional weeks to make time for foundation training skills. Work on polite greetings, focus on you and a fun (and useful) trick or two.

Personalized Training Packages - Online Lessons

An online consultation is required for personalized dog training packages and behavior modification cases (aggression, fear, anxiety and reactivity problems). Private lessons packages are designed to allow enough time to see real pawsitive change in your dog!

All Things Puppy - ages 7 weeks to 5 months

$340-$680

A 4 - 8 week personalized training plan on all things puppy! Length of training package depends on your training goals and the age of your puppy. These private lessons include time to ask your pressing puppy questions as well as fun and easy games to help your puppy start off on the right paw.

Adult Dog Manners - ages 5 months+

$360-$540

A 4 - 6 week dog training plan tailored to specific training skills. Package length depends on your training goals and dog's age and history. Possible training topics include greeting manners, house manners, manners in public, surviving canine adolescence and more thanks to the personalized nature of private lessons.

Behavior Modification for Problem Behaviors

$400-$800

Requires an Initial Consultation to determine the package size. Topics include aggression to other animals and/or people, fear, anxiety, and more! We offer 4-8 week programs depending on the behavior.

In Person Meetups

$55

A 30 minute, in person session in a public setting. A chance to apply your skills and receive live feedback from your trainer in the real world. Must have completed a training package first. Meetups are personalized and can be at a park, hiking trail, dog-friendly store, with real world distractions or a setup distraction (helper dog/person) depending on your goals and your dog's needs.

In Person 60 Minute Lessons for Puppies, Manners and Behavior Modificatio

$100+

A 60 minute, in person session in your home or a public setting. Almost all of the packages that are offered online can be in person in Stevensville, Florence or Hamilton, Montana. An online consultation is still the first step to develop a personalized plan and choose a package. Packages range from 4-10 lessons. Most addresses will fall within the $100/lesson pricing but some will be subject to an additional $10 travel fee per lesson.

What's Included in Your Dog Training Package?

Live Video Chat Lessons

We understand how challenging it can be to juggle home life, work, and still find time to train your dog too. The good news is you do NOT need to spend hours a day on training drills or exercise to create change in your dog's behavior. With easy to follow steps and 5-30 minutes a day you too can enjoy a well-mannered dog.

Private lessons are one hour sessions from the comfort of your home. During your lesson you discuss training, add the next steps and practice the games for live feedback from your trainer. Scheduling is flexible with lessons spaced 1-2 weeks apart and afternoon and evening appointment options.

With online training you don't have to worry about the stares and stress of taking an undertrained dog in public or a group setting. Once you and your dog learn the skills in the comfort of your home you receive personalized guidance on how to take training 'on the road'. You learn to train your dog the way professionals do and as a result you will see your dog quickly learn more desirable behaviors and develop the skills you need to help them to succeed in the real world.

Resources to Guide Practice

Handouts/to do lists with step-by-step instructions to continue your practice. Videos of select training games so you can see how it's done. Logs and other tools to document and guide your practice between live sessions. Thanks to Zoom you also receive a recording of the live session at no additional charge.

Support and Feedback

In between live lessons you can email questions and even send video of training sessions for feedback! Many behavior modification cases will include a training log to document your progress so that your trainer can guide you between live lessons.
